Bakuman

Hi, everyone! Today I will introduce a comic called Bakuman. This comic was published from 2008 to 2012 by Weekly Shounen Jump. Weekly Shounen Jump is published by Shu-Ei Sha. Many kinds of stories are including in Jump. Also Shu-Ei Sha piblishes separate volumes of comic. Bakuman's separate volumes are about 20 volumes. Weekly Shounen Jump sells for about 230 to 280 yen. There are 3 keywords in Jump. It's friendship, effort and victory. This magazine target young boys. However, adults can enjoy it too. So Weekly Shounen Jump is a favorite with males.

 

Bakuman's original author is Tsugumi Ohba, and Takeshi Obata draws the pictures. 

These two people wrote "DEATH NOTE".This comic is the story of cartoonists. The protagonist are two people, Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi. Mashiro is skilled at painting pictures. Takagi has a talent for writing. They are high school students, but they have dreams  of becoming cartoonists. There are many cartoonists. They become a comrade or a rival.  I think people are able to know about cartoonist's work with this comic.Bakuman will be made into a movie on October 3. Takeru Satoh and Ryunosuke Kamiki will appear in this movie.
