Detective Conan

Hello everyone! Today's topic will introduce Detective Conan. I think that most of Japanese know the comics called Detective Conan. This comics are published serially for 20 years from 1994 by the publishing company called Weekly Shonen Sunday. And this comic became famous. The comic's aniamation is broadcast from 1996. In addition the movie is show every year from 1997. A separate volume is about 460 yen. There are about 80 volumes.

Main character is a boy called Shinichi Kudo of the detective high school student. He is made to take strange medicine by mysterious composition. Then he becomes the figure of the primary schoolchild. Shinichi Kudo changed the name called Edogawa Conan. And he lives with childhood friend called Ran Mouri. However, she does not know that Conan is Shinichi Kudo. Conan solves a lot of cases. Many adults wish Detective Conan conclude, because we want to see ending of this book.

Nodame Cantabile

Hello everyone! Today I will introduce the comic named "Nodame Cantabile". It is Japanese manga by Tomoko Ninomiya. "Nodame Cantabile" was published serially by Kodansha in the comic book named Kiss and it is issued in 23 separate volumes. And it won the prize named Koudansha Manga Prize. The theme of the comic is classical music. It is a romantic comedy, and the comics are interesting and you can learn about classical music. If you are interested in classical music, I recommend "Nodame Cantabile".



The chief character of this story is a woman called Megumi Noda. She studies piano at the College of Music. A man called Chiaki Shinichi lives in the room next to the apartment where she lives. He is at the same university too, but he learns conducting.

This comic became an animated cartoon, a TV drama and movie.The acters Hiroshi Tamaki and Juri Ueno appear in this movie. They learned about musical instruments to reproduce an orchestra. I was surprised that they researched so seriously. Please check out this comic or movie!

ReLIFE

Hi! This time, I will introduce the comic called ReLIFE. It is published on Comico. Comico is  the application that people can read comics free. There are many comics in Comico. So I think that's a good killing time. 



ReLIFE is Japanese school comic. Arata Kaizaki resign from his job, and he was in the middle of job hunting. One day, Kaizaki met the man called Ryo Yoake. He works in ReLIFE research institute, so he suggested experimentation to return to work. It's experimentation that Kaizaki send high school life for one year. The story begins in there.

ReLIFE has been made into an anime, and separate volumes are sold. Please read ReLIFE if you are interested in this comic. Also Comico is my recommended app. Please download it and try it out.

Bakuman

Hi, everyone! Today I will introduce a comic called Bakuman. This comic was published from 2008 to 2012 by Weekly Shounen Jump. Weekly Shounen Jump is published by Shu-Ei Sha. Many kinds of stories are including in Jump. Also Shu-Ei Sha piblishes separate volumes of comic. Bakuman's separate volumes are about 20 volumes. Weekly Shounen Jump sells for about 230 to 280 yen. There are 3 keywords in Jump. It's friendship, effort and victory. This magazine target young boys. However, adults can enjoy it too. So Weekly Shounen Jump is a favorite with males.

 

Bakuman's original author is Tsugumi Ohba, and Takeshi Obata draws the pictures. 

These two people wrote "DEATH NOTE".This comic is the story of cartoonists. The protagonist are two people, Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi. Mashiro is skilled at painting pictures. Takagi has a talent for writing. They are high school students, but they have dreams  of becoming cartoonists. There are many cartoonists. They become a comrade or a rival.  I think people are able to know about cartoonist's work with this comic.Bakuman will be made into a movie on October 3. Takeru Satoh and Ryunosuke Kamiki will appear in this movie.

STROBE EDGE

Hi, I'm Akiko. I read some comics from childhood. So, I review comics of my favorite that I read. Today, I will introduce comic named STROBE EDGE. A genre of comics is girl's comic. It is popular among girls.

 

I'm going to introduce outline. Most of the characters are high school students. Hiroine's name is Ninako Kinoshita. Her personality is pure and vigour. On one occasion, Ninako was in love with Ren Ichinose. He is a favorite with girls. But he have girlfriend named Mayuka. Ninako was rejected. The story begins in there. There are a lot of characters elsewhere. And most of the characters are in love. In addition, I think that it is interesting.

Now, STROBE EDGE was made into a movie. Kasumi Arimura played the part of Ninako. Souta Fukushi played the part of Ren. Please go to watch the movie and read comics!
